Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - Wednesday, October 25, 2023

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25 FROM 5:00 -6:30PM ET.  DOE would like to invite you and your organization to join them on Wednesday, October 25 from 5:00-6:30 PM PT for a virtual community briefing about the California H2Hub, which will include locations across California. This briefing, co-hosted with the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES) team, will provide more details on the proposed H2Hub and will include a feedback session for community members to ask questions, voice concerns, and share other considerations with OCED and the project team. You can register for the webinar here.

We look forward to seeing you and hearing your feedback during this event, and we also encourage you to share this invitation broadly with other community groups in your network that should be present for this conversation. Please email [email protected] with any questions; we will aim to address these during the briefing. You can also reach OCED’s H2Hubs team at [email protected] with general questions or comments about the H2Hubs program.

Monday, October 16, 2023 - Monday, October 16, 2023

MONDAY, OCTOBER 16 FROM 2:00PM - 4:45PM EASTERN TIME. On Friday, October 13, 2023, OCED announced the selection of seven H2Hubs across the country for award negotiations. The goal of the H2Hubs program is to help accelerate the production, processing, delivery, storage, and end-use of clean hydrogen - critical to DOE’s strategy for achieving President Biden’s goal of a 100 percent clean electrical grid by 2035 and net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. These H2Hubs represent a federal investment of $7 billion in hydrogen infrastructure and emphasize community and labor engagement; diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility; investing in the America Workforce; and the Biden Administration’s Justice40 Initiative. Click here to learn more about OCED’s H2Hubs program, and click here to read the White House’s H2Hubs press release.

OCED is planning to hold three virtual briefings to provide more information on these selections and the path forward. We hope you can join us on Monday, October 16th, to learn more about the H2Hubs and how to engage with us and our private sector partners going forward. Topics and registration information are provided below.
