Tuesday, July 23, 2024 - Tuesday, July 23, 2024

TUESDAY, JULY 23 AT 10:00 AM CENTRAL TIME. The desire to achieve net-zero by 2050 has channeled billions of dollars into hydrogen projects worldwide. However, crucial questions about hydrogen's climate impact remain unanswered.

This Tech Talk webinar will discuss HyRes, a new GTI Energy hydrogen emissions consortium, and its effort to build a foundation of sound, science-based information on hydrogen emissions and their climate impacts. Our experts Zane McDonald, Chris Moore, Ph.D., and Ansh Nasta will discuss the pivotal role HyRes will play in measuring and mitigating these emissions.

By uniting industry and academia, HyRes aims to bridge the knowledge gap and build trust in hydrogen’s future. This is an essential session for anyone invested in the future of energy and climate.

TUESDAY, JULY 9. Free webinar. Hydrogen holds the potential to decarbonize long-haul heavy-duty transportation. It has a range and refueling speed advantage over electric trucks. Hydrogen trucks are also lighter, making them less burdensome on roads and highways. Given that diesel prices have recently been high and volatile, and all the tax incentives that the Federal government has channeled into sustainable fuels, it looks like clean hydrogen has a better chance than ever to compete with fossil fuels on price. Are we about to see clean hydrogen revolutionize overland transportation?

Well, perhaps, if it can overcome a series of challenges, including higher costs of fuel and equipment, sparse refueling infrastructure, and low availability of clean hydrogen. Despite these barriers, trail blazing companies are working hard to build up this industry.

Join this free online webinar to learn more about the potential of clean hydrogen in clean transportation.

  • Understand the impact of GHG3 emissions rules, which require 25% of new long-haul and 40% of short-haul and medium-duty vehicles be zero-emission by 2032
  • Get access to lessons learned from California, the market with the longest experience in clean hydrogen applied to transportation in the United States
  • Hear from manufacturers of hydrogen trucks and buses on costs, performance, and availability
  • Find out more about initiatives to build up hydrogen refueling infrastructure, including the National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy
  • Learn more about the dos and don’ts of running a hydrogen-powered fleet with case studies

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4 - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5.

Reuters Events: Hydrogen North America 2024 –Secure capital and long-term offtake to scale your hydrogen projects.

Navigate the post-election hydrogen landscape and seize market share

The US is expected to become the world’s largest clean hydrogen producer by 2030 [BNEF], with decisions in the polls setting the stage for a new era of innovation, funding, and opportunity. H2Hubs updates, tax credit guidance and advancements in electrolyzer technology are poised to revolutionize clean hydrogen costs and investment.

Yet companies committed to the commercialization of the hydrogen economy must scale up infrastructure, navigate tax credit guidance, and secure long-term offtake to secure a position at the forefront of the industry and claim market share.

In the current political climate, cohesiveness with your partners, from utility giants, leading technology providers, and regulators to finance experts comes first. The convergence point is Reuters Events: Hydrogen North America 2024 (December 4 – 5, Houston).

Shake hands with 400+ senior executives under one roof to navigate disruption & forge robust offtake strategies. Access case studies and panels from multidisciplinary experts in this rapidly evolving space.

Tuesday, June 11, 2024 - Tuesday, June 11, 2024

TUESDAY, JUNE 11 AT 10:00 AM PT. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is hosting a webinar to provide information on the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announcing the availability of funding for the Round 2 Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Discretionary Grant Program Opportunity (693JJ324NF00017). The CFI Round 2 NOFO provides funding for Round 2 applications, as well as funding to fund applications previously submitted but not selected for award under the FY2022/2023 CFI Round 1 NOFO (693JJ323NF00004) published on March 14, 2023.

During this webinar, FHWA will provide information specific to the funding for Applications Previously Submitted under FY 2022/2023 CFI NOFO Round 1. As such, this webinar is intended for entities that previously submitted but were not selected for an award under the FY2022/2023 CFI Round 1 NOFO (693JJ323NF00004).

Background: Section 11401 of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), enacted as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Pub. L. 117-58, Nov. 15, 2021), established the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program which is codified at 23 U.S.C. § 151(f)(2). There are two funding categories under the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program: (1) Community Charging and Fueling Program Grants and (2) Alternative Fuel Corridor Grants. CFI Program investments will make modern and sustainable infrastructure accessible to all drivers of electric, hydrogen, propane, and natural gas vehicles.

FHWA will communicate CFI program updates using the contact information provided via this registration.
