TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19 - WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20. The launch of the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program includes up to $7 billion to establish hubs across America, but key questions remain; how do we produce clean hydrogen at the volumes needed to support this burgeoning ecosystem, at comparable prices to gray or blue Hydrogen? And who are the potential users of green hydrogen?

To answer these questions and more, the Green Hydrogen Summit USA  is coming to the East Coast after our hugely successful West Coast event in Seattle as the premier event to inspire and educate delegates on how to take advantage of the opportunities green hydrogen will offer financially and environmentally,  and providing the connections to make projects possible.

Philadelphia is the perfect location for those looking to take advantage of the burgeoning hydrogen economy.  In partnership with The Mid Atlantic Hydrogen Hub, our Summit will add significant momentum to hydrogen in the region.

Our unique audience not only includes energy suppliers, project developers, debt providers and investors, utilities, gas TSOs and government officials, but also potential industrial hydrogen end-users from industries like steel, aviation, maritime, and fertilizers.

The event goes beyond simply focusing on hydrogen and explores the role of other derivatives and P2X applications; biofuels, e-fuels, and green ammonia all have their part to play in the transition to decarbonization. Don’t miss out on the definitive event to capture the financial and environmental opportunities of Green Hydrogen, and beyond.

Tuesday, July 30, 2024 - Tuesday, July 30, 2024

TUESDAY, JULY 30 AT 1:00 PM CT. In the U.S., the transportation sector is the largest greenhouse contributor, and most of it comes from on-road transport. Hydrogen has been widely recognized as a solution to help decarbonize transportation, but many challenges to its widespread adoption remain, such as refueling infrastructure, cost, and other technologies.

In this session, expert panelists will discuss near-term opportunities, potential risks, and where the gaps still exist in educating and communicating with stakeholders.

Moderator:

Nico Bouwkamp, Hydrogen Business Development Manager, GTI Energy
Speakers:

Bill Elrick, Executive Director, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Partnership (HFCP)
Kirt Conrad, CEO, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority

THURSDAY, JULY 3 AT 10:30 AM PT. Workshop on the Development of Applications to Round 2 of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Grant Program

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to provide updates on the development of applications to Round 2 of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure grant program (CFI Program). The CEC is currently developing two applications to the CFI Program. The first application is a multi-state proposal to develop medium- and heavy-duty (MDHD) battery electric vehicle charging infrastructure along interstate corridors (Tristate Proposal) in partnership with the California Department of Transportation, Oregon Department of Transportation, and Washington State Department of Transportation. The second application is proposing a MDHD zero-emission vehicle infrastructure project along drayage routes near California ports (Drayage Proposal). If awarded, the funds would be used to develop a new competitive funding solicitation(s) administered by the CEC. Applications are due to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration on August 28, 2024.

The public can participate in the remote workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.

TUESDAY, JULY 23 AT 10:00 AM CENTRAL TIME. The desire to achieve net-zero by 2050 has channeled billions of dollars into hydrogen projects worldwide. However, crucial questions about hydrogen's climate impact remain unanswered.

This Tech Talk webinar will discuss HyRes, a new GTI Energy hydrogen emissions consortium, and its effort to build a foundation of sound, science-based information on hydrogen emissions and their climate impacts. Our experts Zane McDonald, Chris Moore, Ph.D., and Ansh Nasta will discuss the pivotal role HyRes will play in measuring and mitigating these emissions.

By uniting industry and academia, HyRes aims to bridge the knowledge gap and build trust in hydrogen’s future. This is an essential session for anyone invested in the future of energy and climate.

Tuesday, July 9, 2024 - Tuesday, July 9, 2024

TUESDAY, JULY 9. Free webinar. Hydrogen holds the potential to decarbonize long-haul heavy-duty transportation. It has a range and refueling speed advantage over electric trucks. Hydrogen trucks are also lighter, making them less burdensome on roads and highways. Given that diesel prices have recently been high and volatile, and all the tax incentives that the Federal government has channeled into sustainable fuels, it looks like clean hydrogen has a better chance than ever to compete with fossil fuels on price. Are we about to see clean hydrogen revolutionize overland transportation?

Well, perhaps, if it can overcome a series of challenges, including higher costs of fuel and equipment, sparse refueling infrastructure, and low availability of clean hydrogen. Despite these barriers, trail blazing companies are working hard to build up this industry.

Join this free online webinar to learn more about the potential of clean hydrogen in clean transportation.

  • Understand the impact of GHG3 emissions rules, which require 25% of new long-haul and 40% of short-haul and medium-duty vehicles be zero-emission by 2032
  • Get access to lessons learned from California, the market with the longest experience in clean hydrogen applied to transportation in the United States
  • Hear from manufacturers of hydrogen trucks and buses on costs, performance, and availability
  • Find out more about initiatives to build up hydrogen refueling infrastructure, including the National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy
  • Learn more about the dos and don’ts of running a hydrogen-powered fleet with case studies
