The first US-Germany Climate and Energy Summit 2022 to be held on September 21-22 in Pittsburgh, PA alongside the Global Clean Energy Action Forum (GCEAF) - a joint convening of the 13th Clean Energy Ministerial and 7th Mission Innovation ministerial.

The flagship event of the US-Germany Climate and Energy Partnership aims to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries and provides a platform for climate and energy experts from government, industry, research, and civil society to exchange ideas and learn from each other’s experiences.

The Hydrogen Hub: Building a Value Chain will be the first major event where all the communities in the hydrogen hub value chains will come together in one spot to discuss how to launch a new national hydrogen economy. Leaders from transportation, industrial gas distribution, pipeline, carbon-free hydrogen production technology and renewable energy communities—communities that normally don't communicate amongst themselves in the ordinary course of events—will be on hand to share their perspectives on what is needed to form an efficient and effective value chain to commercialize clean hydrogen production and distribution.
