FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18 AT 1:00PM EASTERN. Join CGA and our trusted Hydrogen Partners November 18 for a live panel discussion on the short- and long-term changes, challenges, and opportunities in the hydrogen sector. Join us as we explore:

Each organization’s unique perspective on the hydrogen industry.
How we can all work collectively to support this growing industry.
Why safety is foundational to the successful growth of hydrogen.
What the future of hydrogen might look like.…and more!
Speakers:

  • Rich Gottwald – President & CEO, Compressed Gas Association
  • Frank Wolak – President & CEO, Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association
  • Bill Elrick – Executive Director, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Partnership
  • Michele Detwiler – Executive Director, Renewable Hydrogen Alliance
  • Nick Barilo – Executive Director, Center for Hydrogen Safety Building Pathways to the Future

As the hydrogen sector continues to evolve, one thing has become clear: there is a tremendous amount of work to be done to support the safe, effective, and sustainable growth of this market.

CGA is bringing our partners together for the first time for a discussion on the future of hydrogen and how we can partner effectively to define and achieve success in this space. While we all share some common goals, each organization has a unique perspective which, when taken as one, will benefit the industry as a whole.

CHS - Hydrogen: The Importance of Collaboration for a Safe and Sustainable Future - October 19, 2022

Thursday, September 29, 2022 - Thursday, September 29, 2022

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 AT 8:00AM EASTERN with Hongyu ZENG Setaram invites you to attend a new Webinar on How to build the future of hydrogen storage? that will take place on Thursday September 29th, 2022.
Hydrogen, as one of the most promising alternative of energy sources, is attracting increasing interest for the research and development, particularly regarding hydrogen storage materials
This webinar is focusing on the characterization of hydrogen storage materials thanks to the volumetric technique for the determination of the key properties of these materials as their storage capacities. The coupling of volumetric instrument with Calvet calorimeters will also be discussed, solutions allowing a complete understanding of the hydrogen sorption on materials.

Thursday, October 27, 2022 - Thursday, October 27, 2022

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27 AT 10:00AM. SoCalGas® and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) invite you to a webinar to learn about an innovative metal-supported solid oxide fuel cell (MS-SOFC) that can be used for clean power generation and electrolytic hydrogen production. Unique features of the MS-SOFC include low materials cost based on stainless steel, ability to start up very quickly from cold to operating temperature, mechanical strength, tolerance to dynamic and aggressive operation, and tolerance to sulfur.

These features enable MS-SOFCs to be used in fast-start and dynamic applications that are too aggressive for conventional SOFCs, including backup power, vehicle range extenders, and chemical conversions using intermittent renewable power. In this seminar we will introduce LBNL’s MS-SOFC technology and use cases for natural gas consumption and hydrogen production. We will also discuss the recent work that LBNL completed with assistance from SoCalGas RD&D, DOE Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Technology Office (HFTO), and Advanced Research Project Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) to fabricate and demonstrate MS-SOFCs with catalysts tailored for each of these applications.
