Tuesday, January 23, 2024 - Tuesday, January 23, 2024

TUESDAY, JANUARY 23 AT 8:00AM PACIFIC TIME. Hydrogen is poised to play a pivotal role in the world's transition to a clean energy future. With its potential to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors and provide durable energy storage, it is attracting unprecedented interest from governments, businesses, and investors worldwide.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA)'s Global Hydrogen Review 2023, the number of announced projects for low-emission hydrogen production is rapidly expanding. Hydrogen demand reached a historical high in 2022, but it remains concentrated in traditional applications, suggesting that there is significant potential for growth in new applications such as heavy industry, transportation, or power generation. IEA is calling for bolder action to stimulate demand for low-emissions hydrogen, both in existing and new applications, to achieve climate ambitions.

Join GTI Energy’s Kristine Wiley and IEA’s José Miguel Bermúdez Menéndez for a Future Focused session on January 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. CT to help you navigate this rapidly evolving landscape. They will discuss the key takeaways from the report and share expert insight on the latest trends and developments in the global hydrogen market.

This session promises to be a thought-provoking discussion for anyone interested in the future of hydrogen.

Thursday, November 30, 2023 - Thursday, November 30, 2023

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30 AT 10:00AM PACIFIC. Join our November H2IQ Hour Webinar November 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. EDT to explore how the Hydrogen Safety Panel (HSP) empowers organizations to navigate the next phase of clean hydrogen’s growth. This session will be led by Nick Barilo, Hydrogen Safety Program Manager at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Executive Director of the Center for Hydrogen Safety at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Safety is essential to supporting energy markets in their transition to hydrogen as an energy carrier, in particular the safe operations of hydrogen production, storage, distribution, and use. Accordingly, safety is given paramount importance in all facets of research, development, demonstration, and deployment activities.

The H2IQ Hour will include a 45-minute live presentation, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. A recording of the H2IQ will be available on the website after the event.
