Join keynote speaker, Bill Elrick at the 2021 Pan-Asia ESG Conference - Focus on Carbon Neutrality. At Citi, we are proud to be one of the early signatories to the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, which was established as part of the new industrial strategy for Europe in March 2020. The Alliance is part of Europe’s efforts to accelerate the decarbonisation of industry and maintain industrial leadership. With the return of the United States to the Paris Agreement, and the increasing levels of discussions leading up to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) scheduled in Glasgow, Scotland, in November, the attention and interest level on decarbonisation and hydrogen technologies will ever be higher this year. In Asia Pacific, China is set to achieve her carbon neutrality by 2060 and more recently both Japan and South Korea pledged to be carbon neutral by 2050.
In this Pan-Asia ESG Conference (virtual) with focus on hydrogen economy, Citi will invite industry and policy experts, scholars, and corporate representatives not only from Asia Pacific region, but also from Europe and United States who will share their views on the global, regional, and local policies, initiatives, and technological developments towards achieving carbon neutrality.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 21 FROM 8:30AM - 1:45PM PST. Heavy-duty truck manufacturers are offering new zero-emission Class 8 trucks in the commercial market today, and more models are coming in the year ahead.  Recognizing this transformational period for advanced clean truck technologies, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is launching an aggressive effort to support these trucks with incentives at this critical time.  The new Project 800 initiative aims to support the deployment of zero-emission trucks serving California ports by setting a goal of 800 zero-emission drayage truck orders in 2021. These 800 trucks represent a pathway toward jump-starting the sector and paving the way for more zero-emission trucks in the near future. To kick off this effort, CARB is hosting the Project 800: Zero-Emission Truck Forum and we invite you to join us for this virtual public webinar on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

The Forum will provide information on California’s climate and air quality goals, the Governor’s Executive Order (N-79-20) on zero-emission trucks, current and upcoming regulations, and address other topics associated with large-scale zero-emission truck deployments, while collaboratively incorporating the priorities of local communities and improving community health.

MONDAY, JUNE 7 - FRIDAY, JUNE 11. Mark your calendars! The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Hydrogen Program is hosting its 2021 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting (AMR) virtually on June 7–11, 2021. 

Each year at the AMR, hydrogen and fuel cell projects funded by DOE are presented, and projects and programs are reviewed for their merit. Registration will be required, but this event is open to the public and free to attend. More information about the meeting, including an agenda and registration details, will be available soon.
