UPDATE MARCH 14-17, 2021 Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have rescheduled our October 2020 TRANSform Conference & EXPO. The event will now take place March 14-17, 2021, in Anaheim, California

Friday, June 19, 2020 - Friday, June 19, 2020

FRIDAY, JUNE 19, AT 9:00AM PT. The 2nd Advisory Committee meeting for the Clean Transportation Program's 2020-2023 Investment Plan Update has been rescheduled to June 19th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.  We have also determined the meeting start time to be 9:00 AM, with the meeting concluding at 1:00 PM. Since the meeting will be conducted virtually, by way of ZOOM, which we understand is not the ideal format, we're asking that participants come with prepared and focused statements in order to make best use of the time. If this not possible, the 19-ALT-01 docket is available to capture all your comments.

The Presiding Member of the Clean Transportation Program Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee) and staff of the California Energy Commission (CEC) will conduct a public remote-access meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Clean Transportation Program. Staff will present an overview of proposed allocations included in the lead commissioner report version of the 2020-2023 Investment Plan Update for the Clean Transportation Program. Staff will discuss revisions to the 2020-2030 Investment Plan Update, including changes made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on jobs and the economy. Since the first Advisory Committee meeting occurred before the pandemic, the focus of the discussion will primarily be on how to leverage funding to create jobs, stimulate the economy, and support equity while advancing the state’s goals for clean transportation.

The lead commissioner report represents the next step in developing the 2020-2023 Investment Plan Update. Before the adoption of the report at a CEC business meeting in August, the CEC may release a revised lead commissioner report. The CEC seeks input from the Advisory Committee, the Disadvantaged Communities Advisory Group, other key stakeholders, and the public regarding the proposed allocations and rationale. Because this meeting will focus on COVID-19 impacts and resulting changes to the investment plan, the CEC strongly encourages all stakeholders submit their additional comments to the 19-ALT-01 docket.

The workshop will be held remotely, consistent with Executive Orders N-25-20 and N-29-20 and the recommendations from the California Department of Public Health to encourage physical distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. The public can participate and observe the workshop consistent with the direction in these Executive Orders. Instructions for remote participation are below.

The Presiding Member of the Advisory Committee, Commissioner Patty Monahan, will attend. A quorum of Commissioners may attend, but no votes will be taken.
